Fetching the plimsoll

The plimsoll was something I was familiar with both as an item in my PE kit at school and also as something I was spanked with on a number of occasions  so it isn't so surprising it makes its return in this life as an adult little in effect mirroring elements of my upbringing.

Whither or not when it comes to uniforms such elaborate braided blazers feature or effectively skipped for a more traditional sweater will depend very much in your Caregiver and yourself but you can see just how smart you can look in a school uniform outside of reinforcing your now reduced status within the relationship as the very much the child who from now is expected to foll the rules and do what you are told or else.

Choo choo's Pt.2

Another place we visited a few times in the 1970's was the Vale of the Rheidol which is a steam train line running from the Welsh university town of Aberystwyth to the Devils Bridge some 12 miles downline.
I'm sure the engine we went on was called Owen Glendwr who I think was something of a hero to the Welsh fighting English occupation of their Country.
The countryside in that part of Wales is very mountainous and really beautiful.

B is for berries

One nice thing about where we live is we live in the countryside with woodland so you sure notice the seasons and as we're well in the fall the berries are out on my trees so here'sa a little picture of them.

The long wait

That whole moment of waiting outside the office of the head of year or head teacher in full view of everybody as they passed the corridor sniggering because they knew you would be invited in to discuss your recent attitudes and behaviour and leave with a very smarting bottom is one those of my generation knew well.
