The stuff that comes back

The last week was interesting with all the egg consumed by the end of the weekend where at another site I admitted to a rather anti authority period when the magic of just entering ones teens coincided with the apex of one of the most controversial bands career that just swept you away with that whole two finger up salute to the system, railing against anyone and everything when not spitting a lot

It's not moving from fairly compliant ten and eleven years to feisty, gobby teens isn't unknown just the short term intensity of it as you revolved around different expectations that you didn't feel and have no interest in.

To me it might as well of been like being left in another country to fathom out what the hell I was really meant to be doing and it still feels foreign to me to be honest.

I just lick an ice cream now.
 

Easter edition

 

 Given how things have been of late we are continuing with last years "new" tradition.

It was almost Bunny Time as it is Easter a few days ago which like many of our traditions does go back to pagan times even if the 'shell' is wrapped around the Easter Story and message in the Bible with it's message of enduring hope for the world following the resurrection.

For some of you no doubt it's the chocolate you go for as much as I do both and things like Easter Egg Hunts are happening no doubted aided by the need to recover from all we've had in the last two and a bit years and Brownies/Guides are taking part in easter themed activities too which is relief given how much girls have been impacted mentally by this pandemic.

I'm sure many will find some comfort in new old rituals.

This is one Mommy presented to me Sunday morning as that's Easter Sunday in the Anglican calendar for being good. I can see the dishcloth coming out if I get too stickified in chocolate if not "something else" !!!

How we see things

Life does throw a curve ball at times like last week and I'm not fully recovered as of yet although your concerns are much appreciated here as much as I do expect the Easter Bunny to be about towards the end of the week.

Like I have been good, resting, although I haven't felt much up to anything else shall we say.

There are parts of me that do align to the spirit of things like Girl Guiding contrary to what perhaps some might expect with things like the promise and trying to be the difference making things the best you can in what is at times a very challenging world.

Trying to put the emphasis more on what you can give and the difference you can make apart from trying to be responsible is a thing worth encouraging and supporting.

In a better childhood, things like Rainbows,Brownies and Guides might of featured building on strengths and better grounding me.

It sometimes troubles me that adults tend to look such things as either a bit "iffy" or just as a trope for adult content.

In the Spanking Era some of us went through it was the case you might be subject to some sort of discipline while in a movement such as girl guiding or scouts although as I understand it there were rules at least in part for the protection of Leaders if not their charges even if sometimes things may of gone "off rules".

The focus of your being a guide or scout was what you did, the fun you had and rather less on any sanctions that might of come your way, never mind "wanting it".

It goes without saying the Modern Era is rightly more strict about professional conduct, very strict on inappropriate conduct and rule breaking, following current conventions.

Guess what I'm saying is whatever you do, try to keep foremost the good volunteers are doing taking Guide and Scout packs respecting how that helps your community and raise children and young people. Not creepy people who want to get off on what no one should.

Resting

 

It may not be long for Easter but to be honest I'm not feeling that great today with all over muzzy head and feeling nauseous so I need to stay in just in case it's  one of the Covid variants  as the official symptoms list has changed.

Basically everything that was on is off for now and I'll most probably get some bed rest this morning and the next few days.

Mother's Day payback

 I wasn't too great this weekend I'm afraid with a periodic condition that leaves me rather disorientated with everything rotating around me  while over here it was Mothering Sunday whose date is used for Mother's Day as we mark it.

 I saw at letstalkspanking.ca this fairly topical cartoon strip which is quite relatable as I'm sure a number of us have as we got older let the proverbial cat out the bag about really what happened to certain things or otherwise less than fully explained events.

With me that includes why a Siamese cat got a bit wet (I was trying to bath it!) and how come a chunk of dad's organ tape with a whole performance from one church got wiped for the Bay City Rollers.

One could imagine the payback!!!

Authenticity

Owthenticity as I call it is something a few people have picked up when looking at this blog over the years rather like its more mainstream littles stablemates because they come from the same place and as I was reminded seeing some split.combined and resplit discussion around journals on another site handling different audience preferences and aversions does figure.

People who may read one may have a aversion to the point they'd never read a blog with certain content on it and vice versa of course even if they may be bit different parts of one whole in so far as you person who is the subject of it is concerned.

The basic principals of all start from a premise with some very important aspects given the audience this blog specifically has which is the life depicted IS the life lived, no lifestyle fiction, a life which basically co-relates to that of a child except BY LAW you are an adult AND in the era you were that child.

The other two blogs do go more into hobbies, interests and attire side of that and cover trends in modern childhood as they affect me.

Because this blog does look more into emotions and discipline then everything around that has to be clearly aimed at a LEGAL ADULT and not about children today as much as it is informed by what was the norms of your own childhood.

Thus what is described is more the reenactment in that setting you knew and feel most comfortable in as a child of that time.

It's never about things such as submission, domination, certainly not "forced sissification" *cough* and thing that part of  the adult kink scene or "kinky schoolgirls" from the days of magazines for men that featured them.

It stems from what in most households at the time or in schools as I do know from first hand experience what would of happened when we "crossed that line" and arisen in real time.

It's very probable placed back in that setting, wearing similar attire to you did then you'd get that feeling, that anticipation of what was to come next with expressions and gestures anyone in that era would recognize. It's something written in us from that time that we expect.

It's why personally I could never do a "school for full on spanking with little else" cos it just would not be real or several days of non stop discipline of all sorts apart from just not being into pain but what happens in this I can and hey I thrive on it.   

Writing this blog isn't easy - I'm not always well - but that is why it is the way that it is: it is for the littles who are happiest being back in the world they knew  knowing someone else would keep them safe and well behaved.

 
 

Ow that feels sore

The morning had promised well trying to sort out some stuff on blogger which as you may realize I had been with for what seems like an eternity as I had this rather unexpected note through to say I'd actually had something sexual on my account, that they'd removed it and they may be consequences if I do it again.

It's kind of a odd cos I don't post anything that most people would see as such but they never tell what exactly it was so you might at least learn from it, like if you'd of said it was this post followed by title I might think "Hmm I remember that image. Best not post anything like that again" .

Still the best response involved a cane as it might at least get me to think twice about posting anything that might just be seen as such (or come under some other heading they don't care for).

That means apart from a stinging bum that'll remind me, I'll need to be a bit more cautious about anything on here not least images least they cut my entire google account off.
