Easter Edition

 (Pix credit: North Dallas Gazette)
Today's the day all right when a certain bunny -no not Jennie- comes around this time of year bearing gifts for the young and very much young at heart and things like Easter Egg Hunts are run.
But wait what are Theo, Peaches and Two-Faced up to here with that there Egg?

Is it something the Yokel Constabulary ought to concerned as I do believe that egg is in fact mine and how dare they try to claim it as theirs to eat in their very own seat by the window plus anyway as it has their own paw prints all over it, recovery should be easy later on.

They're not getting away having it made by one of England's finest chocolate makers with I believe some separate chocolates included just you wait and see!!!

Nom, nom, nom!

Top shelf edition! (Very SFW!)

Been a bit busy this week tidying a few things up, sorting  somethings I don't really use but are in great shape for charity and dusting -atchoo! - the top shelf in my room.

Well when doing that I found something I hadn't mentioned before on here that is I just loved Sesame Street for the characters and especially the message it put over in what could be  very selfish and commercial set of values found elsewhere.

That was a plushie my parents bought me some years ago.

Other interesting things include in a totally unplanned conversation with the legendary Grump hearing him give acceptance to those of us who are adult littles who love dressing and "playing" or otherwise re-enacting more the age we feel whither it's a school based thing or more the life outside of you enjoy from that time.

That was pretty much what I had been up to this weekend at the Easter party, enjoying the Egg Hunt.

The only thing that matters is in being our authentic selves we deal with, to the best of our abilities, those most essential adult responsibilities we have.

Easter happenings

It's the Wednesday before Good Friday and just what the heck is going on here?

Golly gosh Rory had gotten hold of my Egg  on Monday and wasn't for handing over so I fight him paw by paw to get it back. He can go get his own!

I prefer Thornton's chocolate to Cadbury's and this egg had nine individual chocolates with it too in separate box.

By Thursday this was the last egg remaining to nom having gotten my paws so sticky that in the past Mommy had to wipe them with a dishcloth otherwise I'd of  gotten caked in it and so would the door handles.

It's easy enough for me to get in trouble for leaving chocolate stains in the throw over covers on our furniture given everything goes flying when it's in my paws!

On Monday I listened to the final day of the top 200 songs as voted by Boom Radio listeners concluding what had been a good few days sat remembering some, the memories associated with them including songs I hadn't heard in ages.

The top song was A Whiter Shade of Pale performed by the Procol Harum from which the Nice and Emerson, Lake and Palmer the prog rock group were formed.

I grew up at an early age listening to the Hair soundtrack with words we never used at school!

Easter week notes

It is Easter with all the extra bits and that in but a little differently because Mom normally would of been in church for easter services and was more the lynch pin of things being as keen on old rituals as I am going back to childhood but obviously that can't happen.

Monday saw me out, not as early as Sunday as that was connected to the great leak drama what not anything like as bad as first seemed necessitating a home visit by a plumber but timed well to avoid showers plus a spot of thunder.

For as many years as I recall doing this blog there was entry around this ritual sometimes featuring the plushies and hand puppets trying to do a Grinch and steal easter but with bit by bit redecorations this year they've been rumbled!

The Grump tm is taking on some of these little roles and so was responsible for getting this years egg tying that in with the groceries with three mini white chocolate bars

He did also pick up this smaller egg with white buttons inside of it but doesn't sadly make a Tux the Penguin but given he managed that without a prompt last week we can give him pat on the back.

First off on the munchies were the white buttons being the smaller one of the two where I started on the bigger one on Monday morning after going past the school I remember well.

I also had some white Chunkies - a kind of white chocolate crunch bar from an aunt like figure in my life.

I hope people had a happy Easter.

Easter edition

Given how things have been of late we are continuing with last years "new" tradition.

It was almost Bunny Time as it is Easter a few days ago which like many of our traditions does go back to pagan times even if the 'shell' is wrapped around the Easter Story and message in the Bible with it's message of enduring hope for the world following the resurrection.

For some of you no doubt it's the chocolate you go for as much as I do both and things like Easter Egg Hunts are happening no doubted aided by the need to recover from all we've had in the last two and a bit years and Brownies/Guides are taking part in easter themed activities too which is relief given how much girls have been impacted mentally by this pandemic.

I'm sure many will find some comfort in new old rituals.

This is one Mommy presented to me Sunday morning as that's Easter Sunday in the Anglican calendar for being good. I can see the dishcloth coming out if I get too stickified in chocolate if not "something else" !!!

HAPPY EASTER!

Easter edition

The day was going rather well as I thought being up in time for a shower followed by washing my hair before going the watermelon and toast for breakfast .

Then I was expecting to see granny as we can have one visitor in our house now with the new covid rules announced on Monday so I was checking my messages when I had one saying "See you in a few minutes, better get yourself comfortable!. Love Granny" which was odd as I thought she was just popping around with my Easter Egg.

It was a little Easter ritual that went back to early girlhood sometimes I'd go to her and on other times she came up to me which usually began by asking if I'd been good.

Anyway, I heard the doorbell go and saw that she was there so invited her into the front room after offering to put the kettle on, fixing coffee for two.

Anyway I returned to the room where I saw she had a Waitrose shopping bag with her as she said "I hear you didn't clear up your bedroom according to my Daughter when she last saw you".

"Have you anything to say about that?"

I mumbled something under my breath as over the years I'd forgotten how close they were and how she'd learn about my poor school grades before I even mentioned school on our visits.

"Well I have" she replied. She grabbed my arm before saying "You may be an adult in law my dear but do you recall what I did to you girls when they did not keep their bedrooms tidy, Jo?"

"You s-s-spanked them, granny? I said stuttering"

"That is correct and it's time you my dear were reminded of it with haste" she said before adding "Over my knee right now".

Well this was great I thought. Does this mean I don't get my Egg after all as just went over her knew feeling just like her little girl all over again in trouble for spilling stuff before I felt a hand go up my skirt and "You won't need these" as she proceeded to pull my knickers down and give me a firm hand spanking".

"What do you have to say now" she asked. "I'm sorry for not keeping my room tidy, granny" I said as my bottom was stinging "and for needing a good spanking. I'll get it done right away".

"Well, I'll stay to help" you she said "and as you feel that's what you needed after all these years, Jo, let's say you let me spank you from now on, just like we used to then. Agreed Jo?"

"Yes granny and thank you. I'd rather you did as I haven't really grown up" I said.

"I know, Jo. Your my favourite forever little girl and I'll take care of you the way we did then"

After clearing it all up with granny's help, she said "Let's go back into the front room".

We went back in as she hand me this Thornton's chocolate egg and said "I was thinking if you truly deserved it earlier on  but you put your back into the tidying up so you there you go, it's yours after all.

"Thank you for that lovely egg. I love unicorns."

"Well my dear you were all unicorns and smacked bottoms back then and nothing's changed in those has it?".

"No granny" I said before she was for off and I thanked her again with a  few more places to call on.

Easter never felt more different and yet the same for being that eternal girl all over again, loving the simple life.

Easter 2020 edition

It's that weekend just gone although munching may well continue.
The season of the nom'ing of chocolate, that is although there is a very important spiritual side to Easter some of us hold to as well.

So I have an Egg to get through over this period which will be appreciated and a few Easter cards with chicks on them too
The other thing is although I don't exact post about every single week  is that I do mess up from time to time not least in stressful situations and times such that we're living in presently.

Just imagine a situation where you found yourself being spanked by the Easter Bunny no less not that far out of my imagination having grown up watching Bugs Bunny spank in cartoons as Miley did in a various famous photoshoot of 2018?
It might well be the ultimate spanking experience for a regressed adult little like me and what if afterwards when I said I was sorry, he gave me an Egg?
It might just be perfect for me.

Easter Monday

On the nom here as you'd kind of expect for an Easter Monday having finished one set of my chores off for today, breaking into an egg with aid of a knife. Before now I've just bashed my way into it with a spoon but I felt like, you know, being a bit neater.
I'm feeling better in myself compared to the last ten days or so where I've struggled to feel like logging into certain sites we know and taking part in much of the activity never mind chat so I'd like to thank everyone not least LKM for trying to support me through this period as events have hit harder and deeper than perhaps might of been expected.
I'm just getting a few things together ready to visit a couple of friends tomorrow between finishing off tasks for a few days having been tearing my hair out yesterday when I mislaid a card only to find it between two Wellington boots!
It's crazy ol' World, eh?

A little Easter fun

Not the sort of thing I'd normally post but if you're with cute play, are submissive and maybe have a caregiver in your life this just might be the thing to do.
Have them dress you up as a bunny for Easter that is! And organize an Easter treasure hunt so you can prance around hunting for those eggs.
