Cutesy warmer days
It's just me in the end contemplating an Exposure Value reading while clutching Theo with a bowl of ice cream at hand.
Anyway my liking plushies and cute things has always been mentioned here, at EB and other sites before arriving on Tumblr as it goes back quite some time and even Mommy knew that.
She knew I was all sweaters and skirts and now it's spring I can enjoy wearing my shorter skirts being the kitten I am.

Welcome to March
Well, we've had a change of month having changed all three calendars round on Sunday and marked St. David's Day being a month that always seems busier and longer than last month with more events taking place.
Of course on thing we can't ignore is the current Iran/US and Israeli conflict across the Middle East which while we don't get into politics on this blog is quite a worry both from a humanitarian point of view and also for the impact on the world economy.
March has it's anniversaries, Mom's birthday had she still been alive toward the end of the month, never forgotten and always in mind.
At the end of the week, and missing a direct blog entry due to scheduling is my birthday full details as ever I'm not fully informed of when comes to any presents and events which is very much how things have been since I was a child as much as some would say "Yes very much like one even now!"
Now what could better then for me to be given a goodly birthday spanking wrapped in much loved cuddle and lots of affection?
Just the thing for gurls like me.

St Trinians
This said it took a special kind of a man to get into the head of just what a all girls boarding school could be like when the authority figures weren't really in control and to extend the series as much as he did ending up with the science class blowing themselves up. No chance it would happen with me around cos I'm terrified of matches!
Anyway as a bit of tribute to the man and what's become an iconic series of films I'm showing this image of the four girls victorious waving their hockey sticks through air having seen of their rivals on the pitch.

School: What's it for?
School tends to be in the news a lot.
Sometimes it's about things such as Uniform where one Derbyshire highschool is abolishing shirts, ties and blazers from next September, all too often it's about violence in school be it child to child or attacks on Staff or just persistent low level disruption of the sort that foreshortens lesson time and leads to less information really "going in".
And of course in the UK we have the fallout of the Cass Report looking at Gender and related issues as they apply to children in home and increasingly in school looking at dress codes and gender, so-called "social transitioning" and interventions that parents *may* not be made aware of even if in the event of complications they may have to deal with.
Well what is school really for?
At one level it is about providing an environment where each child can grow as a person to their full potential, free to be themselves.
It's a place that meets the requirement in law that we should cause a child to be educated to certain agreed academic standards. The law doesn't require you go to school but you do have an Education.
It should with the help of others assist in making the transition to adulthood in such things as further and high education where needed and to be able to take up employment so you can pay your own way and take part in things such as community service in some capacity and be able to understand and able to take part in current affairs and to vote so you have say in how we are run.
Many hold that uniform does promote smartness and being properly in the mindset to learn which will apply as you get older.
By leaving school you should understand the need to listen to and respect authority but feel able to share thoughts and concerns in a considered, sensible way even if yours isn't the final word on the matter.Wednesday, February 11, 2026
Shattered
Good grief! What I'd give for a grump free few days after him getting ratty and unfocused after apparently losing his debit card but only realizing it a few days just as he was about to go shopping, flying off at tangents, screaming, unable to make a decisive action and stick with it.
Because of that he wound himself up that much he wasn't able to talk to the bank when that course of action - you might say the obvious one - so on top of putting up with all of that maximum level drama I end up using MY own mobile to ring (his seemingly had no credit), waiting for all the button pressing, why don't you use our online app faff to get to human being and putting him "on the line" as I've no legal authority to act for his finances.
That despite attempts to away from what's needed does work and, touch wood, in a few days time a new card should be with him.Off which happened on a day when I was up early, getting stuff done hoping to spend more time "girlie"
Now to sort the food bin for collection.

Being...you
After last weeks emotionally draining post and thanks for your comments we're now trying to recover from severe cramp in the left leg which is making getting about difficult trying to avoid awkward positions and putting too much weight on that side.
Yesterday was a more schoolgirlie kind of a day here as irritating as it is when you suddenly discover when you see a blue van with white logos turn up someone else ordered something they failed to tell you all about and it won't fit in the letterbox either so the white perline socks and that are now going by seen by at least one muggle if not everyone in your part of street!
That said what I have on feels right on me which in view of last weeks post and the odd one before is a good thing not that I think you should reduce what you wear to the point you're a walking Avatar, permanently in just one rigid role.
The last weeks very low temperatures a super frilly satin dress really wouldn't of been the best choice for going out in the wind shopping in - you'd die of exposure in both senses of that expression!
