Equalizing age and personal being

This week I'm going back more to a part of this blog that sometimes gets crowded out between the discourse.

It's really more that in a lot of ways I have always been younger than my years, the youngest in the class when it comes to development and maturity regardless of where in the calendar my birthday actually is and that you're xx months younger by that than I am.

That creates its own issues because at one level you're seen as that child being the one whose said to be old enough to know better but often the one who is looked after by all the others like their kid sister (or brother) cos you don't seem to have it.

I do honestly wonder whither or not dressing in younger style and not just in school based uniform would help shift other peoples presumptions around me to at least the point you see me more for the person of the age who needs that help, that managing if you like?

Something like this twin piece jacket and skirt worn with tights and a blouse doesn't look demeaning but does present me in a younger way.

An authoritive voice

If only someone like her would just come out and say this to me it would be so good as I get so wrapped around my opinion that how it looks (and actually is) goes walk abouts.

The following is a genuine post

"I'm 18 and I've been bad. I cuss and disrespect my parents. I slack off and don't get my homework done on time and I'm lazy and don't do chores. I've never been spanked or disciplined. What would you do if I misbehaved and I was your daughter?"

That's the thing  - you can sense you need some sort of discipline, doesn't have to be physical, to break this habit as you are lacking self discipline but nobody is prepared to give it to you.

For me an explanation of what's so wrong with not being responsible letting yourself and others down , An over the knee spanking, repeat of explanation,  ten minutes silent contemplation, hugs and a promise to turn her around starting with supervising her chores, correcting until we get it right would work.

When you weigh this up she's begging for discipline and guidance in her life.
It's time adults stepped up and give her it.

Chill out zone

I'm feeling a bit more relaxed although I'm away regressing this week looking just like the school girl I feel in an environment that's very much in little space enjoying every second of it.

The last time I messed up, putting my oar in to a situation that had nothing to do with me just cause I could ending up with a verbal chastisement for it that can't really complain about as sometimes I just overshoot even though my intention was just to suggest something that might of worked better.

Outside of the activities, I just found being in the gardens, walking around helped to keep me calm as I sorry about social situations cos I just seem to put my feet in it, spotting the wildlife.

Knees and toes

I'm not feeling too good today actually but a few days back Miss Colleen posted something that got me thinking about about something they were forever on to us about school, like how you 'carry' yourself.
Yes deportment classes. Shockingly I actually had them at my school for a considerable period in an attempt to walk upright without slouching or looking like a chicken, neck craned forward as wildly un-co-ordinated as I am I found walking upright in a straight line very difficult.
Did you have such classes?
Even now I still have difficulty with such things

Another area was where to place your hands. There's a clue in the picture!

And a few more especially if your in your best party dress!

If you're outside, a hand on the pleat of your skirt can help if it's a bit breezy and in this pose very classy.
Finally one the best pictures I've seen of the knees together, feet out pose with a lovely dress.

Simply adorable.

Being dressed as a middle

Sometimes I wonder what would really happen if everybody knew I dressed like a little girl.
Would they look at you with two heads, may be refuse to speak to you or otherwise be spoken of in whispers or is it that actually they're ok really with it?
I'm inclined to think most of the time it's a "I'm okay, you're okay" standoff where everybody just holds back on verbalizing how they feel so it's just little game society plays especially after one group of people outed me only to find everyone I knew just wasn't bothered wanting me in roles that involved interacting with others who just may of heard something.
While the experience wasn't good and sure, those people shouldn't of done what did, in one way they did me a favour- they forced my little adult little girl out into the open as they saw how I dressed including pictures.
Today I no longer deny this side of me at all
