Downstairs girl

One first thing to say about this last week has been for a variety of reasons some routines have been different not that I'm kinda ocd over routine although I do benefit from some structure in my life which is why this post has been typed today when otherwise I'd of been busy.

The last few posts have been about interests of mine as I'm not exactly a one dimensional adult little girl by a long shot and things I had and enjoyed from my birthday rather than personal posts so I thought this last one of March would be different.

Birthdays do bring back memories not least around Mom and that's a part of what I'm looking back at this week.

Shared life is often a compromise whither you live as a couple or as individuals who maybe share a property and also this can and usually does cross over to relations with parents, relatives and so on.

You may sense that some parts of your life not least for a good number of us being  a 'little' come under the heading things you can't share or be otherwise open with although there's nothing remotely shameful in it.

This is particularly so if like me you're also coming at this as being Tg too with a number of inter family issues around my being so following my greater involvement around alg activities I had been wondering more around working through this with Mommy.

We did manage to evolve to a point where it's finally okay to present as alg downstairs at night where just both of us are in (Grumpy has his own space upstairs he resides in then) as I feel fit, and she feels comfortable engaging with me sat in the front room being the same me as before for an hour or so.

We did starting to bond better, I can openly call her Mommy - indeed even addressed birthday her card as that - which is helping both of us work through this having had our difficulties in the past around gender based issues.
Another issue is  the site Sp@nking Needs,a site for adults who feel the need for and those who did perform said services has ceased to be.

I joined in 2014 as it had a less fet1shly, more thoughtful feel to it that made it a great place to talk about those needs and some of my disciplinary issues that required some treatment which in time they did get.

It's a great pity such great sites seem to be going in an age of social media and ever shifting regulations as it was really safe.

Blown about

For some of us given the rather extreme weather we have been experiencing in the last few weeks and indeed is forecast for this weekend it's likely both your hands are going to busy trying to stay decent, avoiding blushes while out.

Perhaps that life hack of our Late Queen, of sowing weights in the hemline may help deal with such potential mishaps?

Pleats and me

I've always had something for pleats in my skirts, may be a lingering bit of my memories of school uniforms but generally they hang better on me, having that bit extra pouf that I like so it's hardly surprising I like to be put in them.
Today, I'm having to rest, well kinda rest anyway which wasn't really planned for and has little of itself to do with what this blog usually talks about although the weekend started off pretty well. You see yesterday was day one of Study Weekend as I was getting to grips with paragraphing and punctuation which to be honest is something I struggled with at least because I had poor idea of what were never mind how you use them in written English.
I did pretty well on the set exercises going over what I had learnt which was very much eye opening before it was time to go from where I study to the main lounge to take a break before having an evening meal.
That's when it happened. Now normally I gather up all my study stuff, putting it away tidily, followed by unplugging my laptop which I put on during recess to check out the news and carry that out with me.
What happened was I skipped that last bit got up to go and got my feet stuck around the cable which would of been fine except for I went backwards catching my small right toe on a plastic MiniDisc container, at which point I emitted a loud Ow!
The reason for the Ow was obvious. I'd clearly caught the top bit of it where it joins the rest of my feet on the plastic, being painful to touch with red marking although checking nothing felt broken.
Afterward, I sorted out the laptop, putting it into it's case and hobbled in discomfort down the stairs and checking this morning the localized marking has gone to black from the impact, most probably through green to yellow as it subsides.
With that later on I'll be resting it getting on with some Math work I was supposed to do anyway as it will help take my mind of it and it's not an excuse for me to not to do it.
Apart from learning not to be so impulsive that I don't check where my feet in relation to anything else is, that's a big lesson in growing up I have to learn not least because I was responsible for what happened.

On gender presentation

Sometimes it seems I spend chunks of my time arguing not just with the usual suspects, men with fixed ideas about 'their' woman but with male to female transgendered individuals regardless of status within 're-assignment' or not about your rights, our rights to present as we see ourselves.
Females from whatever gender history have the right to express themselves in terms of how they dress on the street however they like be they more like on the left in jeans which is very common for women just getting about our towns and cities right across to skater skirts which isn't a million miles removed from how I dress outside of more obviously middle or 'age play' related stuff or even to wear shorts.
As a female you have plenty of options and you own them.

Opaques and fashion.

A variation on theme, I do like patterned opaque tights not just from the point of view of being less likely to ladder when you're putting them on but also for the patterns that easily team up with something such as a simple plaid miniskirt too.
The 70 denier ones here are fairly common place in British high schools and an increasing number of Junior ones too a change I observed in school myself
The only thing that I don't do is the heels simply because with my poor walking and balance I couldn't stay upright walking in them.

Tennis skirts

One of the things I learned a few years back was that shorter skirts do look good on me not least because my legs are a pretty decent shape so don't need to be covered up so much although obviously you'd consider the occasion.
I've always liked pleats so something like this Cornfield Tennis skirt would work as the way the lower half poufs out adds volume would compensate for my relatively flat beanpole frame, adding an illusion of curves.

Knees and toes

I'm not feeling too good today actually but a few days back Miss Colleen posted something that got me thinking about about something they were forever on to us about school, like how you 'carry' yourself.
Yes deportment classes. Shockingly I actually had them at my school for a considerable period in an attempt to walk upright without slouching or looking like a chicken, neck craned forward as wildly un-co-ordinated as I am I found walking upright in a straight line very difficult.
Did you have such classes?
Even now I still have difficulty with such things

Another area was where to place your hands. There's a clue in the picture!

And a few more especially if your in your best party dress!

If you're outside, a hand on the pleat of your skirt can help if it's a bit breezy and in this pose very classy.
Finally one the best pictures I've seen of the knees together, feet out pose with a lovely dress.

Simply adorable.

Spring edition 2014

Spring has sprung here not that I exactly appreciate resetting all the clocks in the house as well as the one on the 13 year old S-Vhs video recorder by hand as  ever since they turned off  the old analogue tv, it no longer automatically resets itself.
However one thing I love is walking through the woods nearby where the birds have formed their nests, raising their young, seeing them flying calling out to each other from one end of the wood to the other. Then there's the squirrels climbing up the trees, traversing the branches before moving along to another and repeating the cycle which in a way the Seasons are all a part of.
One thing you find certainly here both along the highways, parks and some folks private gardens are daffodils, usually commercially cultivated  ones out in full bloom and there was a reason why I selected that commercial image apart from its' technical quality.
Spring is a time of renewal, of rebirth which you see when the bulbs having been planted previous years germinate, throwing out the flowers in all their glory which is well depicted.
There's a girl in that picture, maybe one whose thrown off the more austere winter attire to something that feels so much more fresh and vibrant as she engages with new life being herself.
Coming down the stairs last night the symbolism just struck me.

Sorting one's draws

Hi folks.
Seeing it's the start of that cold season, Winter, and I need to distract myself from some of the bad stuff I referenced last week in passing, I've been going through my draws (there's a British pun somewhere in there!) sorting through the condition of my stuff.
One discovery was some of my socks had holes starting to form at the heel and as they went back a few years where my prevalent mode of presenting was slightly different bordering more on Goth I thought it was time for a change.
I bought several pairs of these white school girl socks with bows on because they go more my with my uniform which is what I wear most of the time and the bows are really rather cute which I'm sure will look great when I'm in alg company which is where I'm increasingly headed.
Not quite 'regulation' but very pretty, I bought another pair of these thicker socks that'll work for less 'school' settings or with things like my skater skirts or possibly tailored shorts (I'm the kind of girl who feels 'girly' even when not in skirts being more tomboyish in actual childhood).
One other discover was my spare grey pair of slipper socks were showing some signs of wear at the heel and as my other oldish Hello Kitty pair had gone down well at GHS as well as helping me dropping straight down to age appropriate behaviour to the point I could drop my 'groan up' guard, I bought a couple of pairs of these. Anything that aids that has to be good for me in the longer term.
They are also easier to pack than slippers for things such as alg meet ups and camp.
Finally I found a grey ragged sweat shirt that was definitely ragged in the elbows, one I'd bought around 2004/5 when much of this ten and half year adventure as documented here was starting and was in two minds as to do a like minded replacement or not as I have another grey one in much better shape.
Following a conversation at GHS around my green skirt and my explanation on why I didn't bring that, the suggestion was that actually red would go with it, I decided to get another red one from my usual school sweatshirt supplier like the one I'm pictured in a few entries back.
No doubt quite a bit of this will feature at the upcoming GHS meet up where I'll be in attendance.

Take three

Apart from being jolly warm at the minute I also feels hungry so no doubt that kind of inspiration comes into play with the first two skirts.
Munch! It's all about cupcakes that easily lends itself to motifs with so many varieties.
You can even add polka dots to the hem and it still works well as with this design found on Etsy
Finally and followers of my Tumblr also love Elegant Gothic Lolita  so here are three lovely examples of JSK with accessories.

Playwear

I think there's three types of clothes you have as a middle, your school clothes being one which I have  written bits about here already and your more going out formalish stuff that might include say party dresses or best stuff for visiting friends and relatives.
There's the other sort I haven't said much about now which is more the clothes you play in at home or say your garden (if it's secluded) where what are wanting is things that are quick and easy to wash and off you the most freedom of movement for when you are.
For me something akin to loose t shirt, a PE or in this pictures instance a Tennis skirt, ankle socks and canvas pumps is ideal although you could substitute PE shorts or short tails over the t shirt. That to me is comfortable and probably why the first set of girls attire I bought was a PE uniform to play and generally chill out in.

Working on Jo

We've been working on who I am and possible looks for me now for a while starting to really  get somewhere. I can do and look good in shorter skirts so just imagine what could happen if you took me in here, you weren't afraid to insist I bough a whole outfit and gave me a fixed budget.

You'd seen get a good result, a Jo dressed more like the girl she feels as shy as is with a bit of Big Sis push looking more like this.
Those plaid skirts would be so right for me....

Get set and matched!

One of things the person who is working with me is trying to do is to work on feeling confident  and part of this is about removing barriers between how much of me I allow others to see so I'm  having my hem lines taken up and long socks or tights removed.
She's trying me in a pleated tennis skirt with a suitable top and casual footwear.
A bit of this ties into the regressed schoolgirl playing sports in a competition context which does have it's appeal.

More changes for the gurl

Summer time and we're taking stock of being more open about who I am from its hidden days and the odd misstep along the way as it affects this blog and its' readers.

Being 'sissy' is controversial in that it avoids flying under flags of convenience, just saying you're Trans or perhaps going down an outward route of transition even if when it comes down to it you don't see yourself as an woman which in law you would be even if you do have as I do, a very much major "littles" side.

To me it's about intellectual honesty even if every sissy does it differently you're not coveting what a transexual feels that she is a women born in the wrong body, you just wish to gender present as you feel including your sexuality connected sides.

My little side is more schoolgirl but something more kawaii and more overly feminine features in my more regular older self image rather like this, decorative because I love dressing to be noticed and to feel pretty.

Part of the experimentation around presenting that is going on involves changing my underwear as the person who is pushing my buttons has decided to put me in soft  plain underwear with lace detail to bring out more of the Princess in me.

It's also quite interesting to find I actually enjoy this being dressed by another which underscores my more submissive side even though I was a willing party in all this.
