Ball girl

Being something like a Ball Girl was the kind of thing I always looked to be and indeed many of the girls I envied were in their own ways just that.

Fall term 2013

The start of a new month and that means Summer vacation is over so we're all due to get back to school.

 That of course meant in the last weeks people were looking at and fixing their uniforms and as  can recall you often had to take a sibling or family friend on their first trip to either school or maybe your school if they had had reached a transition age so rather like centre picture you'd of been escorting your sister to her school all shiny in her uniform while you were in yours.
Modern school uniforms do allow for more when it comes to PE and Games stuff than what I was brought up with such as a fairly plain tracksuit for some Fall/winter activities like that of the teen girl n the left.
A well fitting blazer can make all the difference to your regular day uniform although that whole look is more Senior, keeping you looking smart.

Although I was hardly encouraged to play games, thanks the that super delicate and un-cordinated image my folks presented to others, playing in the team mattered a lot to me because it was about belong.

Truthfully belonging is a big theme and issue in my life.

Soccer for Jo

This  is just what might of been put in as part of my official childhood.

The idea of soccer for girls rather like cricket  was just laughed out of court by most Games mistresses way back then, not that I didn't like the staples of netball, hockey and rounders far from it but it would of been good to of had the choice.

School PE

PE or Physical Exercise as distinct from   Games was a big part being a Junior where I did climb ropes, bars and do Gymnastics when I remembered to bring my PE kit to school and did continue to around 14 at my Senior School although by then study time was creeping in and the only real exercise was weekly swimming.
Being transgendered I longed to do this in the girls PE kit which included Gym Knickers and a short plain Games Skirt rather than shorts although today it's common t o see Junior girls wearing them and I do own a pleated traditional games skirt which if I could to to an age-play school I'd happily wear for doing PE in as in all honestly I could use the exercise!

Sports and middle me

Actually while I'm hardly the most co-ordinated person on the planet, I did love playing sports, mainly traditional girls sports like Netball, Hockey and Rounders and in an age play context would love to play them with similar minded 'girls' even in improvised forms just for the fun of playing together.
I'm less about intellectualizing stuff like what this whole age-play thing in me is so much as just going out there and doing it anyway. The exercise may do me good too!
