Preventing the Princess Sassypants moments

It's a quiet rather so-so afternoon as I type this having just dodged dark skies that would of had you thinking you were in for getting soaked as I kept reviewing the situation being prepared to cut short my time outside, picking shorter routes if needs be.

That's pretty much the worst thing with this weather, it's so unsettled yet not going out isn't just a matter of forgoing exercise and fresh air as valuable as those things are but for someone like me not going out, working off any frustrations tends to lead to me feeling cranky.

Things just build up in me rather like a pressure cooker and then spill over which tends then to the point I'm bent over for a good spanking so really apart from quickly working around what's bugging me  it's essential I'm given the space to let it all out safely.

That's why I'm grateful for being able to be out take in the countryside and count the birds as it works out better all round.

Random Wednesday round up

This week I am supposed to be undertaking an activity but the part that I have hasn't arrived here of late so instead I'm trying to get other things done so I can accommodate that as soon as it arrives and that includes writing this.

Monday saw the death of Geoffrey Hayes who was the parental adult figure on the commercial ITV Network show Rainbow from 1974 through 1992 keeping Zippy,George and Bungle in order  which was supposed to be for pre-schoolers but many of us who watched were older catching it at Lunchtimes in an era most of us didn't  didn't have video recorders.
The show had segments and one was Rod, Freddy and Jane's folk music slot which was enjoyable to listen too and matched the folk revival in the adult world in the 70's.

I did get out Sunday even though it was drizzling for a walk whereupon I came by his nutkins  playing on the ground where someone had tossed a golden yellow corn cob before clambering up into a tree as I stood looking on in awe of his speed and agility.
Earlier on  I saw the sheep in the freeholding here as the leaves are beginning to fall even if we haven moved into that delightful colour phase of the fall as yet.

Talking of trees we have had some more work on tidying up some of our trees and bushes that had rather taken over parts of our garden during the summer although one side of this is it has exposed a problem in Grumpy's domain, namely one shed roof as partially fell in!
Although I can easily think of a temporary fix until he replaces it which to be honest is what needs apart from a pruning of contents, that's his problem not mine.
I'd sooner sit here and listen to my new cds and have fun than worry my little head over that!

Monday reflections

Here we go with another weeks entry in the weekend where my BFF was away enjoying herself and I was catching up on a few things.
Part of the weekend saw me out delivering the community magazines on foot to people, interacting face to face too as I went up and down peoples paths while trying to unsure I didn't get caught out by the showers as the weather was very unsettled.
I also removed a few old catalogues from the dining room as they were not just out of date  but in the instance of Maplin's ones well that store is in the process closing down so will be totally redundant within a week or two.
One strange thing that happened was I got a cd I hadn't ordered  from a company I do use and looking through he orders and invoices I simply cannot one for it at all. Bizarre or what???
I have gotten near enough everything organized now for getting to Susan's funeral including the train tickets as it is in far South east of England and I'm in the Midlands.
There should be an edition of this blog next week and I'll be around first thing Wednesday to post any links in the usual spaces before I make my way down there.
Finally this week, I mentioned last week about some unwanted followers on tumblr and how they can bring more of the same.
A few weeks back I spotted someone had followed  and reblogged a post of mine whose user name looked a bit suspicious so I went over to their account and noticed first of all there was a high proportion of picture of children in questionable poses so I scrolled down and spotted a few that he had reblogged that were clearly sexual.
Going to that persons account, I found what I can only described as being a large collection of some that went back quite some time which was really extremely sickening.
Having worked in child protection, nothing surprises me anymore and one thing you have to bear in mind beyond even the content is in the making of such images children are exploited and injuried.
I filled out a number of report forms with brief descriptions, my concerns and links to the posts for both account holders and sent them to Tumblr's minor safety people.
On Monday I got notification action had been taken - the entire accounts had been shut down - and  I only hope details are passed to their local police to go pay them a visit.
One hopes amongst these peoples followers they get the message, regardless of whatever sexual orientation you may have, involving children in it is an absolute NO. By statute they cannot consent to it either.

Weekly review

I'm taking things a bit steady this week for a reason, namely I was having 'spoons' issues to the point over the weekend I just fell asleep, zoning out too, when I was talking with my BFF. Unfortunately I don't always spot when this is likely to occur which is like kind of embarrassing and often I'll have no idea until I wake up this happened and even the just what it was I was meant to be doing.
I may delay publishing one blog and concentrate on a upcoming Tumblr anniversary entry apart from also working on anniversary entry and associated work on The World of Joanne_chan so like that's two significant things to mark.
You can't stop the unexpected though .
Earlier this week a person we know knocks on the door about twenty past nine in the evening which is wind down time with me before I have a drink and go to bed and Mommy lets her in plus dog. The dog is the reason she came cos it had been badly injured requiring some £2,000 worth of veterinary work plus much tlc by its owners to restore walking and she wanted to show its progress. Mommy kind of forgot for one thing my plushies were all out on a couch in a line, theirs various children' completed craft kits of mine in the fireplace, dolls in the corner by me, one on my chair and...wait for it...I was in my uniform too! Fortunately she wasn't phazed by it however I take things as if you arrive with no warning then you can't expect people to change or put away things so you either accept even if puzzling or leave cos it's your space and you don't live in that to suit others ideas and that.
I've been continuing with trying to reduce portion sizes a little as two thick beefburgers and a plateful of rice really is too much before you add a substantial sweet into the picture as I wasn't created to be a walking waste food consumer and equally I've been continuing with regular daily exercising not least during the weekend as inactivity added to that excess food really doesn't do me any good healthwise.
That's what I couldn't understand as I'd eat quite a bit including a ton of candy at Littles Camp but actually lose weight by the end which leads me to the conclusion actually littles shaped movement I feel okay doing is the thing I need and nothing too focused on targets plus that really boring adult stuff.  Kinda more play in play mindset that functions as exercise if you will.
I've also been listening to a lot of piano music recently not just cos I like the music but actually I find listening to a piano very soothing emotionally getting lost in the peaceful mental scene.
