Team member

.
Although I was hardly encouraged to play games, thanks the that super delicate and un-cordinated image my folks presented to others, playing in the team mattered a lot to me because it was about belong.
Truthfully belonging is a big theme and issue in my life.

A case of the school girl bottom rubs

The bottom rub after the spanking before is something I recall well from my Junior years where it seemed it was at least twice as a big as before lasting for ages as you took your time trying hard avoid sitting on the sores spots and failing to the amusement of your peers who knew  what a naughty girl you'd been and where you'd been sent to.

Bonds in adversity

Having things such as injuries or even conditions was with me at least always a part of childhood and especially being at school.
Like for instance I had my arm in a sling for eight weeks after fracturing the upper arm in what could only be described as a moment of total carelessness when coming in from the snow one playtime, I didn't shake the snow of my shoes and check  the soles were dry so I slid and was in agony. Others had say calipers fitted.
One result of this was we looked after each other and in my instance several girls looked after me from lessons to cutting up my food at meal times and this brought us closer together.

Grey curves

This is a more curvy take on the grey dress thing I like that works well with a cardigan and strong boots I could see myself wearing

Snowbusiness!

What's white, comes by the bucketful and if you were to ask me is really rather fun even if it's a pain for the groan ups with all their considerations around getting into work and shopping?
That's right-Snow!
It might be me and my crazy upbringing but I always look forward to the winter for this powder dry reason: Sleighing, building snowman and having snowball fights really is the most fun plus it's easy to track all the animals and birds that visit your garden cos their footprints are so much the more visible.
You can watch birds arrive for feeding too:
See I'm organized,eh? Plus I have heaps of long socks to keep my legs warm.
Cold also kills of nasty bugs off to which is no bad thing.

I am...Me

I can remember the battles around accepting I could be anything other than an adult female even if I didn't feel exactly I was one as I'd never felt really 'high school'  at high school forever being the Junior, still thinking I was in a Junior school, regressing frequently much to the bemusement of my classmates as understanding as they were of me.
The simple reality of this is  I'm a girl who is NOT an adult who does belong in junior attire, who ought to be able to  play, suck lolipops just like a junior because that's MY headspace and functioning is at.
I belong in a gingham dress, school gymslip or short tails with my Mary Janes on in LittleSpace and have the right to be me.

Full steam ahead

That there steam choo choo - Met Locomotive No. 1 - was a weekend visitor to London's subway systems ("The Underground") 150th anniversary on the Metropolitan and Circle line. Just imagine the smell and sound of all that steam and the regulars might even why me of all people just puts up for the first time ever a picture of a train?
While many girls shock horror love trains especially the steam powered sort probably keying into stories around getting to girls boarding schools and that marvellous 1970 film adaption of The Railway Children, for me trains are a darker thing routed in childhood abusive episodes.
Consequently talking trains to me is something I'm ill at ease with not that's your fault or anything just the demons running around my head but we're getting somewhere as I was able to view footage of of this weekends event without wanting to hide or run off.
I even thought having that train running was a really nice idea!
