Floating along nicely

Feeling as if we're walking on air is part of the innocence of being an age-play adult middle so you may well feel like strolling around with a balloon be it say a My Little Pony one or a heart-shaped one cos you're in love with your caregiver.
It is the  most natural thing for you and why shouldn't you do just that?

Less is more

After all that talk about regression I had this thought:

Why do I want it all?
The only all I'd like - note I ever do wants people -  are good friends, enough money to live by and peace - everything else isn't necessary. I get zilch from it.
This is what I actually need-a child-like life wearing a pretty dress.
If that makes me weird so what? It's the kind of weird that makes sense to me.

Revisited classroom 2011

One of my last classroom experiences was attending a residential training school for the disabled which was held in a former Girls Boarding School with extensive grounds about a mile way from the town centre  and some  a quarter mile off the rail station.
The reason I was there was because I'd never received any  proper training for a career, my disabilities are such I'd need support across the whole day to get by and frankly I needed a more stricter school type structure most adult colleges don't offer to learn effectively.
Things like a rigid time-table, less lectures and more chalk and talk teaching and having to wear and being inspected on smart office uniform during class times. While corporal punishment was out, you could and I was taken out to the front to verbally chastised for such things as not using your time responsibly or being late returning to class in front of your peers.
It only took a day before we all realized we were mentally at least "at school" with very much a schoolboys and girls scene going on most days in our class with some of us clearly regressing with plushies and Winnie the Pooh pencil cases being out, the emergence of gangs and gang leaders coupled with lines being formed for our meals we had to keep to.
I through persistence and firm discipline from our instructors gained my COTAC travel industry qualifications.
Looking back on this, it does show clearly I loved being 'at school' with its rituals, social structures and the firm discipline adult settings don't usually provide and it is better for me.
I do think there is merit in being punished in each others presence not least as a deterrent to others and would accept it at an age-play school which I feel is what I'm looking for.

Role playing schooling

There have been times when I have thought what may happen if I went somewhere - and there are places that do actually exist - where you went to a age-play school for over 18's role playing say Junior or high school.
Quite often you have to go through a process of being interviewed to see if you'd fit in and also how in reality as opposed to any kind of a fantasy some might have of you 'take' to any kind of corporal punishment that in the role playing typically from 1950's through 1970's would of applied and to which in role you'd be given for any infraction.
The honest answer for me would be I would because I lived with and feel very comfortable having had it to the point I'd sooner have it back again.

Mr Twiddle

You know something don't you? Being in the meadow with the little girls is bringing thing backs  to me that were previously buried under a pile of 'Groan Up' stuff.
Here's an example of what I mean. The other day I was sat thinking as you do and suddenly from nowhere in particular and my mind went back to the books I recall reading as I'm sure many of us in the Commonwealth did as young children and the characters from them.
Like many during that era, Enid Blyton was on our bookshelves and maybe you can recall Mallory Towers, the Secret Seven and so on by her but this one just popped back to me in flash!
It's Mr Twiddle who appeared in a few books in this series based around him, his cat and long suffering wife.
Mr Twiddle is kindly old man who also is somewhat forgetful, lazy and in some respect what we used to call a 'simpleton' making many mistakes through his inability to see what's really happening.
For instance he was quite convinced the garden had magical coins appearing where in reality he was losing money as it fell from his trouser pockets as he mowed the lawn! Another is based around his mishearing the request from his wife to hang the sheet and coat so he hangs a sheep and goat who escape causing mayhem as the enter the house.
One of my favourites though was when he was asked to change the light bulbs and plant some in the garden. Well he only puts light bulbs in  the garden and and the bulbs for planting in the lamp holders!!!
I used to read these religiously often in bed with a touch under the bed clothes and forget now when they went but it may of been when I was 10 or something when we moved home.

I'd like to say thank you for all of you who read this this blog whither or not you get it from the Adisc, ikklespace or Girltalk.to.

Regards Jo.

Adult tween/teen life

The prism you may see Age Regression from is one that often is routed in the past and in that past bedrooms were more austere places where you slept and had little over a bookcase or maybe a small radio in them.

Your new-old adult but child  bedroom reflects that life which will include some elements from contemporary teen life such as your cellphone that you use to 'connect' to people and maybe a music playing system.

You can try to keep to traditions routed in your childhood but in the end you co-opt some modern ones simple because in the modern world that's unavoidable.

Shutting people out was a textbook emotional response for me for many many years and I guess it can be justified as a means of preventing others actions from hurting your inner feelings.

It seems a lot easier than dealing with their drama or give them another chance to hurt you even more.

I do that sometimes when I get tired of the drama or I know they are gonna say something hurtful I just cut off the relationship cold and walk away.

The trouble was it drifted into shutting people out to prevent any possible hurt learning to deal with relationships.

Two left feet!

For 'dancing bears' of all ages can you think of anything more fun than dancing in a dress or skirt with partners drawn from school learning the steps together?
Hmm thought so.
I feel such things can help break down gender divisions and help in learning to co-operate together.
I'm hardly the most gifted dancer not being steady on my feet isn't the best of starts but one thing I did enjoy was school dances. Be they Scottish Country Dancing, dancing the maypole or even 'disco dancing', we had a good time and that's really the important thing.
