A word from The Bear

Hewwo. I'm Theodore the IInd I am. I came into Joanne's life today this magical day called Christmas to add a bit of sparkle in

to her life as she just loves teddies bears giving the most loveliest hug to us bears.
I was at a bit of a loose end at the bear home when she told a woman she really wanted me for Christmas and you know what? Not once did she peep at me until today!

I'm hoping she'll have some great adventures with me.

Christmas edition 2024

Well, the great pause be upon us as nothing will happen until we are clear of Boxing Day as I've a lot to do outside of unexpectedly being away the weekend before with friends.

I am not sure what the blog before the New Year will be like, sometimes I've done a kind of review other times it's just been a short resume of what Christmas is like as things are emotionally a bit all over the place as you notice more what  was always always around organizing things - Mom.

Anyway wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

The planning for CatMas has began!

It's the week after the great paws of a week so we are to a point playing catch up here after being on a day trip and then being unwell for a bit still the cat's gotta play and all that.

Despite tons of "Woe is me" talk planning for Christmas is beginning as the list is being typed out to one S. Claus late of the North Pole for various things with information where he can place the order and store it all ready as last Christmas was a bit of rush with some reluctance on the part of the Grump job.

That means find space for Mr Claus to keep it with a lock and key and checking any emails with delivery information which is as well as some has already arrived, checked and put away.

The theme if there is one will be more past centred.

Christmas comes soon

It's that time of the year when I take a break with everything that is on as while things have changed over the years and we do less taking presents to people nonetheless we still have people come and drop in at odd hours as suits them.

Then I have my cards and presents for people to do which all takes time and with my hands A LOT out of me as I struggle to write my name some days.

There are many fantasies people have over christmas and indeed many a tale about just how christmas turns out for naughty girls and boys from them that always want but don't give to those who are really rotten but perhaps a trip to lapland is what we're looking for.

*** WISHING ALL A WARM HAPPY CHRISTMAS ***

To write or not to write

I'm supposed to be doing something with a couple of Christmas Cards but I've twisted my knee and it's really painful so I've little inclination to deal with that today but first thing tomorrow might be possible I guess.

Tree is up and we have seen Mr S Claus on his travels on the sleigh this weekend, bring much delight to all young and old as we waved back at him and with any luck we might get a nice present for being...well nice.

Probably beats being given something for people to administer a spot of correction with I guess.

Things will pause next week as things will be busy, rotten knee or not making Xmas happen.

Christmas paws edition

*** HAPPY CHRISTMAS FOLKS ***

At this time of year it's usual for me to take a break from blogging, commenting on various websites not least Tumblr simply because there's that much at the face to face so-called real life level to be getting on with so that has really  to take priority in the build up to Christmas Day and  shortly afterward.

This year will be no different so I thought I'd let you know I'll be off for a period.

Counting them down

Only thirteen more nights to go before Mr Claus arrives at midnight with his sack (and we're all hoping he's not sacked thanks to you know what this year rising its head again) as I'm sure we are all looking forward to Christmas and what that might bring.

I often get super anxious in the days before that I can't always sleep with Christmas Eve being the worst.

Life as a little is like that. You get the best and the worst of it from the innocuous fun, often spontaneous to the tantrums and  "I hate you right nows"  as you appear to have learnt nothing no matter how many times you've been around the sun because you might as well be a child.

You might as as well just discipline me firmly there and then however hard it might appear as it is far more likely to go in than delaying and taking anything less than a juvenile approach.

So long as the consent is there, you might as well just go for it with me.

Christmas Edition 2018

The day is finally here and I'm out of my jim jams and into my pinafore dress and grey socks as we get to open this years presents.
The kitchen has been placed in Custardy as Mom is making custard by hand for tonight's trifle having tracked down some decorations go on top of the whipped cream while the Turkey Crown woke me up as it's smell wafted into my bedroom.
Starting this Christmas edition like last year made 'on the hoof', Elgar has always called with most my recordings being from the very late 1970's to the 1980's.
This newish acclaimed one, came out in 2016 offers two works I did not have and adds them in both stereo and surround sound in Super Audio cd quality (playable also in regular cd).
It will no doubt be treasured.

The Dandy is the always the Dandy, one a few comics I had as child and while sadly it no longer comes out weekly, it does have summer specials and this annual that stay with the original stories and indeed do even have reprints of cartoon strips from past years

One difference this year is I didn't get the Beano annual because there has been a big change in how the more traditional cartoon series have been drawn, in some such as Dennis the Menace written so he doesn't actually menace that messes up the whole backdrop to the character and a move toward so-called political correctness in the newer stories.
Instead I opted for this compilation issued to mark the 65th anniversary of Minnie The Minx  which consists of reprints of classic adventures as is which is a tribute to a heroine of mine.

I did however pick up the 2018 Christmas special edition which as 68 pages and printed more like a softback magazine.
lt fits in where I'd of had the comic editions across Christmas  where its a good example of where the comic is at today.

Finally a new anime for me to watch in blu ray and regular dvd too.

And another but this one is just in blu ray.
This was a much talked about anthropomorphic animated film from 2016 that I had as a 'stocking filler' on Blu-Ray. I also had some money and vouchers.
We had a turkey roast for dinner and a Christmas pudding that I microwaved with cream afterward before I cleared the table and went off for a walk.
I hope everyone has had an enjoyable Christmas.

Christmas greetings

We're getting set for Christmas here after the changes at Tumblr that meant some work on one tumblr and put paid to posting links to weekly blog entries here on it to.
I'll be taking a breaking a break from all social media unto after Christmas as there's so much ordinary stuff to do to make Christmas happen.
I'm trying an experimental tumblr knock off service that while much of the content isn't my cup of tea does at least offer a Tumblr style space to talk about being little and spanking in one spot  although the text posts don't allow for images within it like a mini blog and I could use a option not to have a recommended blog with a graphic image showing.
Different countries do have different christmas traditions and the notion of Krampus, a tradition that naughty people would not have a regular present  from Santa but say coal and spanking for their years conduct is an interesting one.
With that I think I'll wish you all a Happy Christmas and all the best for 2019.

Christmas Edition

It's usual on this blog to write something around Christmas here because it for one thing it's a major childhood memory, it's almost as big on my age regressed side having that Christmas Eve anxiety at night thinking what I may be having and finally its two whole different days. A heady mixture, what?
I'm home with Mom and Grumpy and I can smell the Turkey cooking ready for Lunch with the turkey from Waitrose, Pigs in blankets made from independent butchers own bacon and sausages, fresh veg from de market in town as we visit our neighbours and having just opened my presents.

Fun that was a direct re-run from my actual childhood came from this annual with adventures from Dennis the Menace, Minnie the Mix and the Bash Street Kids plus a special annual of the Dandy featuring such favourites as Korky the kat, Desperate Dan and Beryl the Peril.

I had some money from Mom, one brother that were put toward some compact discs and a HMV voucher.

One you'll be hearing more about next year without a shadow of a doubt is this six super audio cd set of Beethoven's Symphonies, a sacd set of Sibelius Symphonies and Chopin Preludes sacd.
As well I had a scarf and blu rays of Back To The Future  together with the Karate Kid which were two of my favourite movies from the 80's as I slowly replace a few by the better looking blu ray versions.
I hope you had a super day with your gifts and toys but also with company too.
*Written on the Chromebook on Christmas Day!

Happy Xmas

*** MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS ***

I've pretty much finished my present buying and card writing stuff now so we're on the waiting in for people to arrived in a random "I was just passing" fashion to drop things off and for anything here to be exchanged with coffee.
I love Christmas but I'm not so sure I'd want it everyday.
Great news following from December 6ths entry, the infamous blocklist with its dubious claims has been removed in the basis that people on it are inactive or have reformed.
Reformed certainly was the case here as that was what I did after some technological stuff to throw people off the scent  was work on that with the community I joined making sure I didn't repeat the single mistake and worked on earning my reputation back as I now have more followers than I did back then. As well, I established the "PSJ" tumblr on a totally different account focused on more Age Regressed adult little stuff with the odd post about spanking in it to keep it well away from minors.
Your regular service will resume on December 27th when I get around to typing some kind of a review thing and I sincerely hope I actually have functioning central heating as it's darn cold even at half past three in the afternoon anywhere outside the front room with its gas fire.

Christmas Edition 2016

There is a bit of annual tradition on this blog from its very start of doing a Christmas edition rather like as if we'd been around of each others houses and said "How  was Christmas with you?"
For me I was a bit late getting up as I had a migraine on Christmas Eve that was reluctant to  shift so I got dressed and came down for a light breakfast before messaging my Caregiver, BFF and opening my presents.
That's some of them stacked up so I wonder just what might possibly be inside of them?

The Beano was a staple comic of mine growing up even if today it's only available on download and we always had the Christmas Annual so getting that as a hardback with the stories of Gnasher, Dennis the Menace, Minnie the Minx and co really is a ritual I love.
The Dandy suffered a bigger fate as it was discontinued outright but they do one off editions and a annual so I like to read new adventures of Korky the Kat and Desperate Dan of Cow Pie fame.

I love reading although with my learning disabilities I can't manage anything other than junior fiction and even then anything getting more above a reading age of 12 is hard going so Mommy bought me this First edition of the new Jacqueline  Wilson novel set in Victorian England.

She also bought me the last Historical novel she wrote in a series looking very much at life in  Great Britain from a child in hospital in the early nineteen-fifties. I'll write a full review when I've read them .

I had this originally in Paperback but had been longing to find a copy with the original text in so my Brother gave me some money toward buying this used copy lacking its dust jacket as original hard backs are really quite rare and expensive.
I had some chocolate oranges, money and biscuits too from people that care about me.

End of term

The sort of conversation I could picture at my school as one who did line up outside certain doors to the sniggers and "what trouble are you in?","What'cha gonna get" remarks other kids gave me although I didn't get into trouble at end of term unlike some.
This blog will be paused for a period after Christmas as I'll be busy helping out my family make Christmas happen and unlike in previous years in 2016 I am expected not to spending my time stuffing myself with chocolate while being online as part of making more more responsible for myself and others within my limits, helping out, doing more.
It also is the case that frankly I could use a break from a certain site too given the drama always going on and how events have effected me so badly so I need to prioritize my own emotional well-being more which this process I'm being put though is about.

The languages of apology I can be taught

As a reader of this blog, you will have realized I'm by no means  perfect having gotten into situations that I shouldn't and a good part of what it is about is helping me change those habits of a lifetime in part by the establishment of clear rules for me to learn to live by rather than just overriding yours and by the consistent disciplining of me so I may never get away with it without administered consequences.

The other side to this is teaching me what to to put things right in real time so I assume appropriate responsibility for my own actions where in the past I've ever shrugged my shoulders or attempted to play a card - usually a disability card to exempt myself from the standards expected of others.
I need people to take me through this so I am as responsible as I am actually capable of disabilities aside so I learn to conform to your standards and expectations.

Christmas report

Christmas here was a bit different for a few reasons one being we didn't go out for lunch between some inter family stuff that tested patience to the limits and Mommy and I being very unwell just before and still recovering  so even if we had, it really would of been a waste as we'd not of eaten much.
With that we ate at home between ourselves, with the Turkey being put in over night to cook right through, vegetables done across the morning and the Christmas Pudding zapped in two minutes flat before eating!
As it was 2015 I had to help out getting stuff out, setting the table, clearing the table and with washing up.
I did have a number of presents this year although somethings are in transit as as I wasn't well enough to organize them to just before Christmas which does give me something to look forward toward I guess.

A perennial with me is comic annuals which are a direct run on from the Christmas presents I has as a child featuring special and sometimes Christmas themed cartoon strips from my all time favourite characters such as the no longer running apart from specials, Dandy which had Korky the cat, Desperate Dan of Cow Pie fame and others in it.

The BIG comic with me as a Child was Britain's Beano a veritable parallel world for those of us who were of official school age  during the 70's thru 90's it's peak period with it's own school and characters in the form of the Bash Street Kids, my heroine Minnie the Minx and Dennis the Menance who like us also got smacked if they were naughty (and they were!).
As time went by some strips like Lord Snooty got retired and others like Bananaman who did have a tv series too joined the old favourites and the questionable practise of featuring in the news real people like pop stars and the like in story-lines crept in.

To say I like Jacqueline Wilson's stories is an understatement outside of the likes of Enid Blyton and co which I was raised on (and as you may know do have a good number of complete series by), she treads the line well between old school story telling but set in the world of todays children (and sadly some of society's issues) producing funny, very readable and thought provoking work.
This is set of short stories, some Christmas related featuring some of her best loved characters like Tracy Beaker and Hetty Feather with quizzes too which is just the sort of thing I like, a more middles take on an annual in a paperback book format.
Mommy bought me  this, Maddie who is a 14 inch soft rag doll who I think is adorable in her pink candy stripped outfit and some grey long school socks which is a very sensible choice for an adult middle like me.

My Auntie brought me a selection box which was a super inspired choice on her part as she not formally known about my Middle side but can tell straight I'm very child-like.
To be honest I'd sooner people either asked ideally or just bought me things more like this because I just so not relate to *adult* likes and that at all so buying for a middle child really is more sensible.

Gratitude

“Said you’re bored with your poxy presents did you Miss?” “I spent a lot of my time and money on them and to have such a show of ingratitude from you, Jo, I have no choice but to deal with your attitude here and now.”
Originally published over the Christmas break, as we look back over that period a month back, how many of us really felt appreciative of the presents people bought us and how as ever did we deal with the disappointments.
Did we feel ‘Meh’ as we unwrapped each and every one, even getting into a funk as we opened it up thinking “God, don’t they know I’d never use that?” even feeling insulted by their choice?
I have to be honest and say in the past i have been like that - proper miserable to live with - and actually a good hard spanking  with a simple to understand lecture would of helped set me straight.

Christmas Edition 2014

Well, now were officially a few days past it, here's my Christmas edition for this year where as ever I ramble on about Christmas as it lived by me.
The first thing to say is Christmas for me is first and foremost a littles affair, practically a childrens one starting with the great anticipation, the week before and building up on Christmas Eve where I sat with Mommy watching the Carols from King's concert on tv in one of my Pinafore Dresses before eating.
I was wake around Half past  Six Christmas Day with anticipation about which list of Santa's  I was one, hoping it wasn't the naughty one, getting washed and dressed  to comedown stairs (in our family you absolutely never come down stairs without being properly dressed, ever) and fix breakfast.
It wasn't long before the sacks were found and surprisingly I wasn't on the wrong list (with a bag of coal and a voucher redeemable for free smacks) so I started on opening them.
There were a number of Annuals, those perennials from my childhood where you got a softback book featuring cartoon strips from your favourite comics, extra features, quizzes  and games.
As the initiated know, I do read this comic a lot loving the adventures of Minnie The Minx, Dennis The Menace and the Bash Street Kids so here's this years annual.
A comic I used to love but has folded from weekly publishing was the Dandy with Korky the Cat and Desperate Dan of Cow Pie fame but they do specials such as this years annual so I was mighty glad to get that one.
An author of books I love to read is Jacqueline Wilson and every year there's an annual out about her, the many stories she's written featuring Tracy Beaker (a heroine of mine) with tips on writing and drawing. I also got the Hello Kitty annual with stories and pictures you can colour.

Talking Kitty, I got a note pad and pencil from my Brother and partner which was pleasant surprise.
But the biggest surprise was yet to come.
Yes, my parents actually surpassed themselves and bought me this Grafix Build your own Teddy Bear kit that you stuff, sow the back and badge onto and fill out the Birth Certificate for!
I mean, you couldn't get so little with me me if you tried as this suitable for anyone over five (Foive in South Staffordshire speak) bear you can carry around with you hugging after completion.
After going out for lunch, I got changed into a Tartan skirt coming down the stairs in the late afternoon watching tv for a bit before we had a light evening meal as I was feeling a bit full.
One of my brothers forget his present so he's due to come back with it sometime soon while the other one realized he forgot to give my my main present so money that'll go toward some more blouses as I go through my closet replacing  and updating clothes.
Typed before evening meal in Red and Green GHS uniform with grey socks as I have no wish to have to wear trousers to eat at night with and the 'rent's are getting used to it!
